A friend of mine recently sent me this YouTube video. I have a fascination with numbers (especially numerology) and math. I really enjoyed the message. It is worth taking a look at and only about 3 minutes long:
What is Numerology?
Numerology is the universal language of numbers. By breaking down the patterns of the universe into numbers, we are able to uncover information about the world as a whole, as well as every individual.
Numerology uses numbers to decode the patterns of the Universe.
The western form of Numerology, the Pythagorian system, is among the most enduring and popular of all self-help methods ever created. The Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Hebrews, Egyptians, Phoenicians, early Christians, Mayans and Incas all employed number systems to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the universe.
Pythagorian Numerology was organized by Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, who combined the mathematical disciplines of the Arabic, Druid, Phoenician, Egyptian and Essene sciences. Since then, it has continued to evolve. It formed the spiritual basis for many secret societies, such as the Rosicrusians, Masons, Anthroposophists and others.
Today, its popularity continues to grow. Numerology columns now appear regularly in newspapers and magazines. Numerologists are consulted with increasing regularity for everything from personal romance to business decisions. As the industrialized world becomes more computerized and dependent on numerical systems, the fascination with this ancient spiritual science only grows.
St. Augustine of Hippo(A.D. 354–430) wrote “Numbers are the Universal language offered by the deity to humans as confirmation of the truth.” Similar to Pythagoras, he too believed that everything had numerical relationships and it was up to the mind to seek and investigate the secrets of these relationships or have them revealed by divine grace.
Hippo is the patron saint of brewers, printers, theologians, the alleviation of sore eyes, and a number of cities and dioceses.
Pythagoras made influential contributions to philosophy and religious teaching in the late 6th century BC. He is often revered as a great mathematician, mystic and scientist, but he is best known for the Pythagorean theorem which bears his name.
The Pythagorean theorem: The sum of the areas of the two squares on the legs (a and b) equals the area of the square on the hypotenuse (c).
The theorem can be written as an equation relating the lengths of the sides a, b and c, often called the Pythagorean equation:

February is the Month of 2 and the 2 is a Vibration that encourages you to deal with your feelings. You may find you are a little more sensitive than usual. I suggest that before you respond or defend yourself, ask yourself this question, “Am I taking this too personally? Is it possible that the person who is talking to me right now isn’t trying to offend or upset me?” I suggest you take a deep breath and don’t engage in debate.
In a Month of 2, do things for yourself that make you feel good. If you are someone who likes to exercise, go to a park you have not been to and walk and listen to some good music while you do. If you normally do not go out, try a restaurant in your area that has a nice ambiance, and just enjoy yourself.
This month also contains a day that some people see as a wonderful thing and others not so much. That is of course, Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day is the 14th of February. The actual day adds up to the Number 5 (14=1+4=5), which can promote two things: celebration of life and/or drama. For those who feel loved that day with cards, flowers and/or candy, it is a day of celebration. But if you are in a relationship where your partner never acknowledges you or does not celebrate your love on this day – you are bound not to feel good about it.
My advice is for you seize that day for yourself! If you are in a relationship, instead of counting on your partner to do things for you, you make the effort to do things for the both of you.
If you are single, get a group of friends together go out, laugh and play or maybe watch a movie that is humorous. Have a little house party with music that makes you want to move your body and dance.
You can always turn February 14th into something very positive for you. If Valentine’s Day is a day of love, then let it be a day where you really love yourself and let the people in your life know how much they matter to you as well.
The other thing about the Month of 2 is that your instincts are very strong. It gives you that intuitive voice, so trust it.
I do wish all of you a Happy Valentine’s Day, and a wonderful Month of February!
